Sarath Babu CEO of FoodKings Pvt.Ltd., is the proverbial rags to riches story starting from the slums of Madipakkam in south Chennai to doing his undergrad from BITS PILANI and then an MBA from IIM-A. Unbelievable but true and an awe inspiring story where he is one among six siblings and his mother had to struggle to give them basic needs like food and education. His perseverance and hard work and the passion to succeed by overcoming various hurdles in his life are absolutely inspirational.
He refused many lucrative job offers after his MBA – to only start his catering service with only Rs.2000.Today he is the company’s CEO with six branches across the country and a turnover of Rs.8 cores. Now he is standing for elections as an independent candidate from South Chennai.
